Sharpen kitchen and sport knives quickly and easily with a blade thickness selector that adjusts the guides to the optimum sharpening angle. Select thick for hunting knives, medium for chef's knives and standard kitchen knives and thin for light blades like fillet and paring knives. It even sharpens Santoku knives. The 3-stage process begins with a Sapphirite™ coarse-grinding wheel to create the proper sharpening angle. Stage 2 sharpens with a Sapphirite™ medium-grinding wheel to give the blade a precision edge. Stage 3 completes the process with an extra-fine-grit ceramic wheel that fine hones the blade to a razor-sharp edge. Precision guides hold the knife at the perfect angle for no-guess sharpening. Simply draw the knife through each slot a few times and it’s razor sharp. Suction cup feet provide added stability when sharpening.
